In the late spring of 2023, Joey & Stacy broke ground on a new addition to our property: The Hidden Chapel. Located right off our Drop-Off driveway, this rain-resistant, handicap accessible area has received much love from our clients! Most couples use this space for their “cocktail hour” in between their ceremony and reception. You may decide to use our built-in outdoor ceremony area (like Paige and Justin’s wedding seen here) or have an indoor ceremony in the barn main room with a flip-the-room (like Rachel & Ame’s wedding seen here). We are so thrilled to have an outdoor covered area to offer seamless transition for the “in between” time. Some weddings just keep it simple with some self-serve beverages and music out here to entertain guests while they congregate and mingle. Some weddings go crazy with food trucks, mobile bars, live musicians, yard games, decor and flowers, live painters, and appetizers.

We also have some weddings utilize this space as their outdoor ceremony location! The clear-roof allows beautiful natural light to filter in, creating a greenhouse feel, surrounded by gorgeous mature trees. If your dream is to have an enchanted forest, outdoor ceremony, this area guarantees you can have that dream come true, rain or shine.

Lastly, we have many of our clients use this area as their rehearsal dinner location the evening before. Our Weekender Package has grown increasingly popular on our calendar and most of these clients will utilize the venue to have the rehearsal dinner here, rather than trying to find another location for this to happen. Most clients want to knock out all the wedding reception decorating inside the barn and don’t want to disrupt any of that with their rehearsal dinner, so instead they host it outside. We love having this covered area again for a use such as this, again, rain or shine.

Whatever your flavor, we just love having customizable options available to help make those wedding dreams attainable! These photos are from the styled shoot we did with our family and team just a week or so after installing the roofing — we just couldn’t wait to bring it to life a little bit and show it off to the world wide web! We have since added so much more to this space - a gorgeous arched gateway leading into the area, sconce lighting and electrical outlets, and storage space nearby filled with accessory rental items to help make those dreams one step closer to being attainable for you (some of this can be seen at Seanna & Jaxon’s cocktail hour here). We hope this addition echos our heart and mission of creating practical, functional, beautiful spaces for your very very special occasion.
